schools out for summer!
Things are beginning to fall into place for me these days. My classes have finally wrapped up for the semester and I think I'm getting a 4.0 in one class and and a 3.5 and 3.0 in the others though I may try to pull that 3.5 to a 4 with some extra credit that is due on Wednesday. I was up until 4am on Friday morning finishing up my final paper so I could it in on the due date.This past weekend Jill and I made the long trek to Marquette to see her youngest sister graduate. While the drive there was nice the only frustrating thing was that NOTHING seemed to be open. We stopped in Mackinac City thinking maybe we could find someplace to eat but everything seems to be closed until next week. It was a reoccurring theme with the U.P. I think if I had to live in a place that was only operational when the tourists arrive I would go mad!
Marquette was good though, gorgeous but cold. The weekend really seemed to fly by though. Hopefully the rest of the week will do the same. I've got a wedding to be in this Saturday but otherwise my schedule is clear. It's such a great feeling to be able to say that again.
